Like the Wrap?

Kind of...

Sarann Spiegel is a young writer and artist.

Previous writings include the short collection You Wrote Your Name in the Margins of My Heart, as well as two novellas, And Iron is Very Brittle and Baby Steps.  They are a born and raised New Yorker who splits their time between the Big Apple and Wesleyan University, where they study English Literature and Creative Writing. They dance, take photographs, and are trying to learn to play guitar.

In their spare time they like to take long walks and laugh with loved ones.

I have been talking to myself since I was a child. I led my friends in our playground adventures with the silly stories that came from my little brain. I treated colored pencils, chess pieces, and Sharpies like dolls. Now I do all of that in my head while playing Flow Free.

I tend to write about places and about love, in its many iterations. Most often you will see poetry here – it's much harder to complete a short story than a poem – but I have a deeper interest in the narrative form.
